ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Brie.
I believe the best photographs are the ones that feel like memory—honest, imperfect, full of life.
My love for photography started early. I was that kid with a camera always in hand, burning through birthday film on the kids and animals at my childhood daycare with a Polaroid 600. Since then, the cameras have changed, but the drive behind them hasn’t: I’ve always been drawn to the real, the raw, the in-between.
After serving in the United States Military, I followed the thread that had always been pulling at me—documenting the human experience. I earned my BFA in Photography with an emphasis in Documentary work from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. That education shaped my eye, but life shaped my perspective.
I’m inspired by people who are unapologetically themselves. By quiet moments and bold emotions. By long drives, back roads, messy kitchens, and connections that can’t be staged.
Today, I photograph families across Northern California, creating lifestyle portraiture that leans into authenticity, tenderness, and quiet strength. My work is less about perfection and more about presence. I believe the best images aren’t posed; they’re felt.
I live this calling alongside my husband—a blue-eyed country soul with a wild heart—and our two incredible boys, Alex and Christian, who remind me daily to notice the little things and hold on tight. They are my greatest joy and my truest inspiration.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me taking the long way home, dancing barefoot to old country music, chasing sunsets, rescuing animals, or simply getting lost down the backroads. All of that lives in my work—every image rooted in story, shaped by honesty, and made to last.
If you’re drawn to images that feel like you—not just what you looked like, but how it felt to be there—I’d love to work with you.
Let’s tell your story in a way that’s honest, beautiful, and completely yours.
